Ronald C. Thompson, FCA, Chair of the Board of Governors of CCAF, announces that Michael Eastman, FCMA, Executive Director of the Foundation, will retire on 30 September 2011. Under Mr. Eastman`s leadership over the past six years, CCAF has expanded and re-aligned its international program, focused on performance audit training and oversight committees and developed a new strategic framework that will be implemented on 1 April of this year.“I am proud of these accomplishments, and look forward to pursuing new opportunities and addressing new challenges in the years ahead” noted Mr. Eastman. Mr. Thompson will work closely with Mr. Eastman over the next six months in order to ensure that CCAF`s programs and activities continue without interruption and that the transition to new leadership is handled smoothly. The Board of Governors will begin a search for a new Executive Director immediately. The Board expresses its appreciation to Mr. Eastman for his enthusiastic leadership of CCAF over the past six years, and wishes him every success in the future. |
