|Lee McCormack Retires from CCAF|
|Wednesday, 23 February 2011 01:00|
Lee McCormack has retired as CCAF’s Director of Research, a position he took on in 2007 after a highly successful 33-year career in the Government of Canada.
Mr. McCormack had postponed his retirement so he could serve as a key member of the team that developed CCAF’s 2011 – 2014 Strategic Framework. The new Framework received the approval of the Board of Governors early in 2011 and will be released to members in the near future.
While at CCAF, Mr. McCormack also managed a multi-year research and capacity development project aimed at identifying ways to encourage innovation in public sector organizations, and oversaw CCAF research into ways to improve public performance reporting by governments.
Although he is retiring, he will continue to share his extensive knowledge and experience as a CCAF Associate and as President of a newly established consulting firm, Marble Crescent Inc. In particular, he will continue to be a co-facilitator of the Foundation’s Accountability, Governance and Reporting on Performance course.
