 Neil Papineau is a professional forensic accountant and investigator with a specialty in auditing and investigating wrongdoing, fraud and corruption in government operations. He has over 30 years of forensic audit and investigation experience in both civil and criminal matters. Neil has directed and overseen forensic accountants and investigators process complex fraud cases through the civil and criminal judicial systems in Canada.
Neil has shared his knowledge and experience by developing forensic accounting and fraud investigation methodology for a post graduate program and has lectured and facilitated numerous fraud training courses and workshops to auditors in Canada and abroad. He has extensive international experience undertaking forensic accounting, fraud audits, investigations and providing specialized training and workshops in the discipline of forensic accounting and fraud investigations. Neil has worked in the USA, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, Africa and Australia. Neil was formerly with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada as the Principal of the Forensic Audit Section. He is a Certified General Accountant with specialty designations of Certified Forensic Investigator and Certified Fraud Examiner. |
